If you’d prefer to donate something other than money our Amazon Wishlist is a great place to start. It’s everything we need to keep the rescue running on a day-to-day basis plus some fun extras. Every animal deserves a treat as well as the basics.
Can you sponsor a dog or a cat to help us cover their costs? It’s easy to sponsor a dog or a cat, just set up a monthly donation via our donations page and let us know who you would like to sponsor.
We are always in need of people to join the team and do whatever they can to help. Aside from fosterers we always need people to help at fundraising events as well as transport runs to and from the vets or collecting rescue animals from their previous owners.
We are also looking for people who’d like to get more involved by helping to homecheck and get involved with admin – emails, maintaining Facebook, Google and Twitter accounts.

If you can’t make it then why not cook up some treats for our favourite cuddly companions, home made dog treats always go down a storm! We also like to have some lovely buns for their owners to sell on the stand if you prefer to turn your hand to human treats.

We save the lives of dogs where they have been at serious risk of being put to sleep in pounds, and we take private home animals when their owners are no longer able to care for them.
We desperately need a team of fosterers to help us save even more lives. With foster homes we can depend on, it means we can rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more desperate dogs and cats looking for their loving forever home.
Chesterfield Animal Rescue will provide everything you need from feed, bedding, litter, toys and support whilst the animal is in your care. All you need to provide is a safe and loving home whilst the dog or cat gets back on its feet.
